Matcha: The Refresher

Matcha is a powder made from grinding green tea leaves with a stone mill. It is rich in epigallocatechin 3-O-gallate (EGCG), a high-potency antioxidant that promotes weight loss, liver health and reverses the process of aging. Green tea is an effective natural antiviral medicine and has been shown to reduce the risk of infection with influenza and other viruses (Cherevaty 2012).

INGREDIENTS:

1½ cups coconut water

2 cups baby spinach

1 frozen banana

2 teaspoons matcha green tea powder

2 tablespoons hemp hearts

2 tablespoons chia seeds

Blend until smooth and enjoy immediately.
